Almonds

Almond oil are useful in the treatment of many disorders, including skin conditions like eczema and pimples. Almond hulls, skins and shells are rich in phenolic compound. Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E, A, D, B and monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, besides a number of other minerals and vitamins, which explains why it is so good for our heart, skin and hair. Due to its high nutrient-contents, this oil is used as a skin care product.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera. Various studies have been conducted to examine the benefits of the aloe vera plant and it was found out that Aloe Vera does in fact have several properties that are effective in treating a variety of skin conditions, from flaky or dry skin, cosmetic ailments, hair and scalp problems to many more. It is also said to be useful in treating wounds and burns, minor skin infections, cysts, diabetes, and elevated blood lipids in humans, and shows some promise in treating more serious and persistent conditions such as eczema, dandruff, psoriasis, sores, skin ulcers and others.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Apricot Kernel Oil is obtained from the kernels (seeds) of Apricots. Apricot kernel oil is great for use as massage oil as it is very light and makes the skin soft. Apricot kernel oil is quite similar to almond oil and its applications are also similar. It possesses many therapeutic properties: Emollient; Anti – Inflammatory; Anti-Aging; Anti – Bacterial; Anti Septic.

Argan Oil

Argan Oil benefits to treat skin infections, bug bites, and skin rashes. Argan oil used by men and women all over the world seeking an effective, all natural moisturizer for skin and hair. Calendula (Marigold)

Calendula (Marigold) is rich in antioxidants like carotenoids, vitamin A pre-cursors that help to swipe away free radicals that can cause premature aging. It’s also very rich in tocopherols and vitamin E, another antioxidant with amazing skin softening abilities. It helps to improve circulation and protect the skin. It also helps calm red, irritated skin and is an absolute lifesaver for those suffering from psoriasis because of it’s anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Chamomile

Chamomile is a medicinal herb with anti-inflammatory, an antimicrobial anti-allergic, antioxidant, analgesic and emollient properties. Chamomile has been utilized to treat pruritus, modulate photo damage, and improve the texture and elasticity of the skin. Findings support the antioxidant properties of chamomile and suggest that it may be a useful ingredient to treat photo aging.

Cypress

Cypress has a pleasant scent that blends well with other essential oils like juniper, pine or lavender. It is a seldom-used essential oil, but very effective when employed. The health benefits of cypress essential oil can be attributed to its properties as an astringent, antiseptic, antispasmodic, deodorant, diuretic, hemostatic, hepatic, styptic, sudorific, vasoconstricting, respiratory tonic and sedative substance.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is a marvelously versatile and useful oil. It cools the body in summer and protects it in winter. It is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibiotic, analgesic and deodorizing. The essential oil has a powerful antiviral and antiseptic capacities and can decongest and open sinuses. Cooling to the skin, it also helps relieve sore muscles and feet.

Evening Primrose oil

Evening Primrose oil soothes, hydrates and moisturizes the skin and has been found to help accelerate the formation of new skin cells. Its major active ingredient is gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), of which the oil contains between 7% and 10% that is very useful to rejuvenate tired and aging skin. It is an approved treatment for the alleviation of the symptoms of eczema, which include itchiness and burning sensations, scabs and redness and inflammation, and has also been found effective in treating dermatitis in various forms.

Ginger

Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil benefit is that it plays the role of sebum and moisturizes our skin and hair. Jojoba oil is an emollient — meaning it moisturizes our skin and prevents irritations, or scaly and rough patches. Dry skin is caused by a loss of water in the upper layer of the skin. Jojoba oil works by forming an oily layer on the top of the skin that traps water in the skin. Jojoba oil contains many important nutrients, such as vitamin E, B complex vitamins, and the minerals silicon, chromium, copper, and zinc. It also contains a lot of iodine, which may be where jojoba gets its ability to fight against bacterial and fungal infection.

Macadamia nut oil

Macadamia nut oil is a lightweight oil that penetrates the skin quickly, giving dull skin an instant boost. It’s high in monounsaturated fatty acids, including Oleic Acid (Omega 9), which are very moisturizing, regenerating and softening on the skin. These fatty acids also have anti-inflammatory properties. The Linoleic Acid (Omega 6) in Macadamia nut oil helps to restore the skin’s barrier function and reduce water loss. Macadamia nut oil has been shown to slow the signs of aging.

Olive oil (Olea europaea)

The health benefits of oil can be attributed to its properties as an anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, carminative, diuretic, tonic, sedative and cholagogue substance. In addition, orange essential oil is shown to promote the production of collagen as well as increase the blood flow to the skin. Peppermint
